Golden milk is one of those food items which are must, if you wish to have healthy body and mind.

Golden delight is nothing but turmeric latte or turmeric milk.

Milk has 18 out of 22 nutrients required for human body to develop and grow. There is this myth that drinking milk increases weight and makes you feel bulky. No, drinking milk does not make you bulky. Drinking full fat milk without proper exercise adds those extra kgs to your body.

With inadequate physical activity , drinking milk will make you gain weight.

GOLDEN MILK RECIPE

-250 ml milk or 1 glass milk

-a pinch of cinnamon powder, turmeric , and black pepper

Do not add more than a pinch of any of these ingredients.

-Boil milk and add all three ingredients to the milk only after the milk is boiled.  Turn off the flame and cover the milk for 1 minute.

-It helps to infuse all the ingredients into the milk without making milk go bad.  After 1 minute sieve the milk.

-You can add a tea spoon of honey and ghee (Clarified butter) after you sieve the milk, to enhance its taste and health benefits.

-Golden milk is ready.

GOLDEN MILK

 Drink it hot or warm depending upon your tolerance to heat. But make sure you drink it warm. Do not let it cool down completely.


It is advised to have this golden delight twice a week. For individuals who do not like plain white milk daily you can have this golden concoction twice or thrice a week.

It helps in sinus issues, strengthens your immunity, helps you fight seasonal infections and has various other health benefits.
